Railroad Services: McConnell specializes in railroad track dismantling and removal. We dismantle and dispose of light and heavy rail cars, trolley cars, and rail power supplies, and perform complete demolition of railroad signal systems.
Wood Debris Disposal: McConnell removes and disposes of creosote debris from waste barges or stockpiles. We also dispose of heavy creosote timber such as railroad ties, switch ties, utility poles, bridge timbers, pilings, pile caps and decking.
Scrap Metal Processing: McConnell purchases all ferrous scrap metal and provides containerized scrap metal collection service to our industrial and construction customers.
Concrete Recycling: McConnell processes concrete for recycling on-site. On-Site Concrete Crushing: McConnell will provide on-site contract concrete crushing on a per ton basis. Utilizing our 2006 OM Apollo Jaw Crusher on Tracks the concrete is crushed to 1-1/2" minus and all steel is removed. The recycled concrete borrow is available for sale.
Road Pack/Gravel for Sale: The gravel resulting from the concrete recycling has been tested and meets Massachusetts Highway specifications for gravel borrow M1.03.1 and M1.03.0 Type c. This road pack is available for sale. Pricing is per ton. Please call for current pricing.
